What is Khukumoni Foundation?

How and when did it start?
The journey began informally in 2015 with only 15 students sitting on the grass of Suhrawardy Udyan, Dhaka. After that, it started formally in 2016 on the railway slum in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka to ensuring pleasant education amongst underprivileged students. The first aiding project that khukumoni initiated changed into making sure meals among the street children in 2016

Yes, Khukumoni Foundation is officially a registered non-profit organization at the ‘Ministry of social welfare” under the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The registration number is Dhaka-09584.
Who is the founder?

Have you any program during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Yes, we have multiple programs during the COVID-19 pandemic to tackle this crisis including food for all, milk feeding to babies, giving relief to flood victims, blood donation program, plasma donation program, and volunteer’s awareness program. Besides this, we are trying to make aware people about the protective ways of being safe from the coronavirus.
What is the main purpose of Khukumoni?
Khukumoni foundation aim is to build a country free of illiteracy, to break the cycle of poverty and make humans comprehend their rights to turn out to be respected citizens. To make a significant improvement of underprivileged people through educational programs, skill development programs, and social campaigning, etc. Children in our society with nourishment and educational program to protect lives, make awareness, establish social justice and empowering the youths along with inspiring
Does Khukumoni Foundation generate any income?
Khukumoni Foundation runs through its “Child sponsorship program” and corporate partnership. People also can make donations in other educative and skill development programs.
What is Khukumoni’s plan for the adult community?
Khukumoni Foundation realizes that to promote the whole community we must also support the adult’s community especially those who are underprivileged and economically backward. We have multiple projects on providing rickshaw to the poor who are unable to buy, sewing machine to women, etc to create employment opportunity. We will also make awareness by social campaigning among peoples about the safety environment, safer roads, and different social outbreaks of violence.

Yes, we have contact with govt. also we are registered under the Government Republic of Bangladesh. We have worked with the government in multiple projects and they have always encouraged and supported us.
Is this a missionary school?
No, Khukumoni Foundation is not a missionary school – we are solely a non-profit organization and destination to empower underprivileged children and youth societies in moral, social, institutional and practical education and voluntary work for the benefit of socio-economic development in Bangladesh.
Do you accept partnerships or sponsors?
Yes, you are welcomed. We are looking for partners/sponsors who also want to carry out such programs regarding street underprivileged child and economically backward communities.
